Ceramic coating is a liquid that forms a very strong bond by adhering to and penetrating the surface of your vehicle. Once cured, this compound essentially forms a thin layer of glass over the surface of your vehicle. It creates a sacrificial layer that can absorb damage and better protect the paint underneath from UV rays, oxidation, tar, bird droppings, sap, rust, salt applied to the roadways, and other environmental contaminants. It has self-cleaning properties, it's hydrophobic and the thickness gives it a great depth of gloss that’s hard to achieve with other products. With this correction, we are aiming to remove about 85% of the defects from your paint and leave a dramatically improved surface. We use a compound to remove swirls, scratches, and randomized defects from the clear coat. We then polish to remove any remaining light swirls or scratches to add optical clarity and depth to the paint. After that we recommend you add a wax, sealant or ceramic to protect the finish.
